Education: Instructional Lines
The Instructional Line compilations on this page provide statistics on each IBHE-assigned UIUC CIP2000 line. According to the Division of Management Information, the Illinois Board of Higher Education assigns a specific CIP code to each department that is a "best fit" representation of the degrees awarded from that department. This CIP code DOES NOT include all degrees awarded from each department, but rather is intended as a representative line for that department. Since they do not include all degrees awarded by a department, this data must be treated purely as informational, suggestive of trends within a department, but not definitive. The Instructional Groups section may be more useful for examining trends in a more definitive fashion.
For each group, a series of graphs and tables are displayed, please see Description of Graphs and Tables for a detailed description of what each shows.
