Please see more information about the Project Methodology for more information about the reliability of these results.
There are two sections to the Focus on Engineering report. The first deals with College-wide rankings of various indicators, while the second profiles individual departments in greater depth.

College-Wide Ranks
These rankings list various categories on a College-wide basis. In all cases, at least two occurances of the item had to be present for the item to be considered in the ranking. PLEASE NOTE that no attempts at normalization were made for these rankings, so name permutations (such as "Smith, John" versus "John Smith" and "First International Conference" versus "1st International Conference") will affect results. However, in most cases permutations were not present in sufficient quantities to affect results substantially.
